Chapter One: Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Event decoration plays a significant role in creating the desired atmosphere and shaping attendees' perceptions of an event. The visual appeal of an event influences attendees' emotions, satisfaction, and overall experience. In Potiskum Local Government Area, Yobe State, event decoration is an integral part of social, cultural, and corporate events, reflecting creativity and cultural values. This study examines how event decoration impacts attendees' perceptions, focusing on its role in enhancing the aesthetic and emotional appeal of events in Potiskum LGA.

1.2 Statement of the Problem
